The leaders of the Armenian opposition held a regular meeting yesterday evening, local media reported.
The event brought together the ex-presidents of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, billionaire Gagik Tsarukyan, former chief of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan, Dashnak Ishhan Saghatelyan, and opposition candidate for prime minister Vazgen Manukyan.
They discussed organizational issues related to the February 20 rally in the center of Yerevan.
All of them stressed the need to secure an impressive number of protesters at the rally to show the strength of the opposition and promised to make every effort and allocate funding to this end.
A rally that would gather few people on February 20 would mean the collapse of the opposition six, the media reported.
